In the mysteries of the US Government , Daniela Garcia talked about the importance of why DACA should remain in the United States.        I agree with Daniela, and DACA should remain in the United States to help all those immigrants that were brought to the United States when they were just little children. DACA has changed a lot of lives and has given a lot of opportunities to those that want to go to college and find a job to repay their parents for all that they have done for them. It would be devastating if DACA was removed, all the dreams and all the goals that have been achieved thanks to DACA would be devastating.     DACA overall has changed a lot of lives, as Daniela said. I have friends that have DACA and have a lot of benefits, they can now work in more places than just McDonalds and can go to college. Seeing them have the opportunity to grow makes me happy for them. DACA is more than just a paper for us immigrants is also a way to have a voice not completely

We should fight global climate change.

Global Climate change     By: Estrella Rodriguez    Climate change is really happening and we see it every day. We are slowly killing what Earth has given us for millions of years.  We have seen change after change over the last decades. The environment has drastically been affected, especially wildlife. Animals, for example, the polar bears have lost their homes because of how the temperatures have changed. Their home is gone and all they have left are pieces of it and is all because we do not know how to stop being selfish.       There is a lot going on due to all the actions that we humans have done. For example heating oceans, declining arctic sea ice, extreme events. The extreme events have caused massive disasters all over the world, leaving families without homes and killing thousands.   Extreme Events Declining Arctic Sea Ice         The Government sees the problem and they try to fix it but we do not see enough work being do

Commentary    In the mysteries of the U.S Government , Daniela Garcia explains how she felt about immigration in the United States and how unfairly people were being treated. I totally agree with her I come from a family of immigrants and I completely understand all the unfairness we see just because we were not born in the United States. I agree that everyone should be treated with respect because we are all humans. We do not come to America to take over but to look for a better place because in some countries, for example, Cuba, El Salvador, and many others are unsafe and your life is always in danger, those that come to the United States do it to survive for a better future. We need to start thinking that everyone is the same and if a "Hispanic" commits a crime we need to stop thinking that everyone else is the same because that is not true. Everyone is different and one person does not represent two or three different countries.     I also agree with Garci

Should we impeach Donald Trump? Is impeachment the answer to have a better government?   By: Estrella Rodriguez- Opinion  Our president has been surprising us since he became the President of the United States. He has been "guiding" America for four years and the more we see from him the more corruption we see. Donald Trump since the beginning has been acting to benefit himself. The way he has acted is only benefiting him and we want a president who cares about the people of America. I believe President Trump should be impeached because he has acted to his own benefits.  One of the main reasons why I believe he should be impeached is because of the Ukraine quid pro quo which means that Trump did a favor for a favor to win the election, which goes back to believing he has acted to benefit himself.  As a woman, I feel like Trump has disrespected us and taken away our right to chose for ourselves. In his first year as president, he blocked planned parentho

Are we settling for a flawed justice system?  * CNN news brings us an opinion of how justice has been treating us.  Lynn Smith a CNN anchor who has been working since March 2019 talks about how justice is being given so differently based on what your race is and if you have money or not.      Smith recently talked about a young boy, Deandre Somerville who missed jury duty because he was to busy helping his grandpa and working on his daily routine. Due to missing jury, he was punished and sent to prison for ten days to learn the importance of jury duty. Somerville went through a lot in prison and he said that he learned his lesson. Smith wonders if missing jury matters more than all the lives that have been taken away by people who drive drunk and are only punish with probation.           After learning what Someville went went through in prison, Smith thought that it was too much of a punish just because he missed jury duty. I definitely agr

On October 04, 2019 New York Times published an opinion over how the presidential elections have been working.  Everyone is involved!          Kingsbury gave a humble opinion about how America has changed over time. He is communicating with everyone in America who is allowing a corrupt democracy. He mentions how a few months ago America would have not allowed foreign countries to be involved in an America election.  In order to backup all the information that he has given he provided us with links so we can fulfill all of the information provided.         I believe that Kingsbury is right and we all have forgotten what the founding father's main goal was. The belief that we deserve a fair democracy where only America is involved to make decisions in our country. They wanted everyone to be equal and to not abuse the power you were given for your own benefits. We all should be part of our democracy, everyone in America should only be involved because we will be the o

Filming is not the answer

On wednesday, ABCNews published an article titled 16-year-old stabbed as dozens film him bleeding to dead. 16- year-old stabbed as dozens film him bleeding to dead.  This article should be read by everyone to understand that if you see violence do not stop and film instead take actions and help. Someone's life is not worth a video. Social media is taking over our minds and instead of helping us is only proving that we are careless. We need to take action instead of thinking of the next video going viral.  A boy bleeds out while others just film the incident  September 16, 2019, around 3:45 pm outside of a shop in New York Khaseen Morris who was 16 years old was stabbed by 18-year-old Tyler Flat. The confrontation began over a girl. They started fighting but then everything got out of control leading to Tyler Flat stabbing Khaseen morris on his chest.   During the attack, dozens of young kids were watching the fight and filming while Morris was bleeding out.
