We should fight global climate change.

                                Global Climate change

   Climate change is really happening and we see it every day. We are slowly killing what Earth has given us for millions of years. We have seen change after change over the last decades. The environment has drastically been affected, especially wildlife. Animals, for example, the polar bears have lost their homes because of how the temperatures have changed. Their home is gone and all they have left are pieces of it and is all because we do not know how to stop being selfish.   

   There is a lot going on due to all the actions that we humans have done. For example heating oceans, declining arctic sea ice, extreme events. The extreme events have caused massive disasters all over the world, leaving families without homes and killing thousands.

   The Government sees the problem and they try to fix it but we do not see enough work being done. The government has passed various Acts to help and the one that seems to me that is helping the environment is the Clean Air Act.  The Clean Air Act helps to decrease the amount of greenhouse gas emissions. This act has lowered different types of pollutants and those are ozone, particles, lead, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, and sulfur dioxide. 

   In my opinion, the government should do more to clean our environment but I also agree that we all should take action. We are all involved in the damage that has been caused to the earth and we should all be involved in improving what we have done. We need to stop destroying our planet. 

   
Around the world, we have seen people cleaning the oceans and rivers to improve the damage that we have done. Seven heroes cleaned up millions of pounds of plastic from beaches and rivers. If we all work together we can make a change and save the Earth.
